I have worked on a number of projects for Bradford College, one of the biggest Further Education colleges in the country, and one of the largest providers of Higher Education outside of the university sector.
I have delivered copywriting training for the Marketing team at the College, receiving some excellent feedback from staff. Most recently, I was asked to research and write a public-sector category bid for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Marketing Excellence Awards 2018.
The award focussed on the 2016-2017 recruitment and enrolment campaign and the innovative ‘Journey’ creative behind it. The work involved pulling together 35 different documents and various sources of evidence.
I was delighted that it was announced in January 2018 that the submission was shortlisted for the final at the annual award ceremony in London in April 2018.
Management feedback included:
” CIM are difficult awards and the competition is very tough, so being shortlisted against lots of big hitters and big budgets is an incredible achievement.”
