Yippee-Ki-Yay, 2022!

Well… That was quite the year!

As I start to wind down for the Xmas holidays, I want to say a huge thanks for all the support from clients, family, and friends this year.

It’s fair to say this year has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Losing mum earlier this year while being busier than ever at work was challenging to say the least. I haven’t faced that level of juggling life and work before as a freelancer over the last five years, so it’s been quite the learning curve.

However, understanding clients and those closest to me came out in force and offered a remarkable support network I didn’t even know I had… which was ace!

As in previous years, I’ve donated some profits to charity instead of sending cards. This year, it’s £50 to Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of mum and £50 to Crisis to help with the dire situation some people find themselves in thanks to the cost-of-living catastrophe.

I think we could all do with a bit of kindness right now, so I’m proud to continue to support charity, education provider, and not-for-profit organisations doing phenomenal work transforming lives.

With this year continuing the trend of “hold my beer” on the omnishambles of that prior, here’s hoping for a better 2023. I, for one, am ready to dropkick the Hans Gruber of 2022 off the top of a famous plaza.

So, eat, drink, be merry, and go watch some classic Xmas movies… if you can think of any??
