West MidLands ComBined authority (WMCA)

I recently supported the WMCA Employer Services team to produce a set of new case studies to encourage employers to think about pre-employment training as route to secure new talent.

This included areas such as sector-based work academies, boot camps and upskilling workforce, Level 2 & 3 adult education budget (AEB) training and national skills fund (NSF) work.

As part of comms strategy to engage employers and signpost provision, the team wanted to also celebrate successes through case study material as proof of concept.

The hope was to develop a range of case studies that set out the problem/challenge the employer had, what the solution was and how it was implemented, and the impact/success of the intervention.

I supported the team in producing a prompt sheet to interview employers, and used the resulting interviews to produce a set of engaging case studies. Each focussed on a different employer/sector/challenge, but all highlighting the phenomenal results of the WMCA provision.

… now over to the team to get the word out!
